Our
Quality Process
Bids are tailor-made to suit our customers plans and l.Q. specifications. Our work includes, as required: shop drawings, material certificates, welding certifications and quality testing.
Quality is of utmost importance to North Bay Welding. It’s why we conduct regular in-house inspections and, if required, bring in impartial contract laboratories to ensure a high caliber product.
The quality control process begins at the shop drawing stage to ensure complete adherence to contract documents. When receiving shipments, materials are checked against MATERIAL DATA SHEETS. Our inspections continue at the layout, pre-assembly, fabrication, installation and completion stages to ensure prompt error detection and to reduce the risk of delays when rectifying a problem.
We know the importance of completion deadlines so we work closely with General Contractors, job superintendents, architects, and engineers to make sure deadlines are adhered to. At peak periods we add a second shift to our production facility.
